This is how long it will take a police officer to arrive to our neighborhood..

This site is not meant in any way to discredit or disrespect any of the wonderful people who protect our children (and us) on a daily basis. The goal of this site to raise funds to supplement the already extensive security measures that Wylie ISD & Local Law Enforcement employ to keep all of us safe on a daily basis.
I started to write a long drawn out explanation here but the answer is quite simple. If you would feel more comfortable if we had a Law Enforcement Officer at the school (and subsequently in our neighborhood) and you would be willing to pay to see that happen, you’ve come to the right place.
This is a group of people coming together to skip the red tape and politics and get straight to what we collectively want… a little less stress about dropping our kids off at school every morning.
Right now it is just me. One frustrated dad who was tired of being told “we don’t have the funding for that.” I have every intention of turning this over to a committee once it is rolling but for now it is myself and a couple of silent advisors.
As for who I am working with, I have approval from the HOA, the School District and local law enforcement. All of which have said that if we can come up with the money, they will get us an officer.
I’ve been a resident of Inspiration since Feb, 2017 and quite simply just want to make it as safe of a place as possible to raise my kids.
Immediately. As soon as we have the funds, we can make this happen.
The logistics of this plan are about 90% complete and will be online in the next week I hope.
$8,000 per month. That’s 7-3 every school day at $55/hr.
We will raise the funds in 2 ways. The boring one first...Voluntary Monthly Donations. We will either accept these through this site or through the HOA fund but either way, we need the guaranteed cashflow to retain the officers.
